Avon PDC is a subsidiary of the Rical Group of companies. It was formed from the amalgamation of IMI Precision Die castings and Avon Die castings when IMI PDC was acquired from IMI Components in February 1998. Rical acquired Peel Die casting in 2002, the company produced casting in the small to medium die casting range. Peel Diecasting were a family business and post acquisition were consolidated into Avon PDC. In 2009 the company acquired Kenwell Precision Die Casting, Kenwell were consolidated in to the Avon PDC in June 2009.
