Avis Lithuania started its activities in spring of the year 1993, and now it is the fastest developing rent and operational leasing company offering a wide range of high-quality rent services. In 1998, 2000-2001, 2005 and in the year 2008 AVIS Lietuva was acknowledged as the best Avis company among 3 AVIS companies belonging to the East European region (Avis Lietuva belongs to a group of companies operating in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia). Avis Europe plc. aknowledged "Avis Lithuania"​ as a company which achieved the best results in the year 2000. In 2002 it was awarded for keeping "We try harder"​ spirit. From the year 2001 to 2007 Lithuanian tourism asociation members awarded Avis as the best rent a car company in Lithuania.
