Aviation Requirements (AR) is an established Defence Consultancy providing specialist support to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Defence Sector Industries. Established in 2003, AR’s early success was in winning the contract for the development of the System Requirements for the Army’s future Battlefield Helicopter. Since then, the company has grown into one of the MOD’s largest providers of Suitably Qualified & Experienced Personnel (SQEP) to support multiple Delivery Teams across the Air Domain. Specialists in niche areas, the company has developed its own technical capabilities as Independent Structural & Airworthiness Advisors (ISAA), providers of Integrity Advice and Technical Support. AR is a Competent Organisation for the provision of Independent Technical Evaluation (ITE) in the Air Domain. Our ITE Exposition and enabling processes are fully embedded within our ISO 9001-2015 AS 9100 Rev D accredited Business Management System. In October 2017, AR acquired a 100% shareholding in Airframe Systems Limited (ASL) which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of AR. ASL are an industry leader in Air-Vehicle Design & Aero Systems Design, providing specialist services, design experience and technical support to both the military and civil aviation sectors. Our Directors and Management team are all former MoD employees with either military or Civil Service backgrounds. The majority of core team members have between 20 and 30 years individual experience of working in the military and civil sectors. Collectively they share a wealth of experience within DE&S and have direct experience of all the sectors that we provide support. The management team maintains professional awareness of MoD current and future strategy through membership of appropriate professional organisations and through an established network of Customer contacts.
