Low Cost / Regional Airline headquartered in Mexico City. Started operations in 1990 with a fleet of BAE-146 aircraft and soon replaced them with Fokker 100's. Acquired by the Aeroexo group in 1995 and incorporated B727's. Aviacsa was a leader in the charter market between the US and Mexican resorts when in inherited Aeroexo's charter contracts. It's fleet transitioned to the DC-9 and then to the Boeing 737. Aviacsa suspended operations in 2009 due to financial problems and was acquired by the Madero Group in 2010 with the purpose of restarting operations in 2011.
