Avenue of the Arts, Inc. Information

Avenue of the Arts, Inc. is a driving force for the improvement, maintenance, and celebration of the Avenue of the Arts district. It advocates on behalf of the community for the development of South Broad Street as a cultural and residential hub in Center City. AAI supports initiatives for street beautification including their routine cleaning, the maintenance of the plaques on the ground commemorating the legacies of Philadelphia musical stars, care and replacement for the Avenue’s crosswalks, and the upkeep of the corridor’s trees and plant structures. Our organization serves as a catalyst for business and real estate development in what has become Philadelphia’s fastest growing region. We create conversation and cooperation between businesses. AAI fosters support for the fulfillment of Mayor Ed Rendell’s dream of Broad Street as a cultural center for the city of Philadelphia. Advocating on behalf of stakeholders including businesses, residents, tourists, and the rest of the Avenue of the Arts community, Avenue of the Arts, Inc. is an established leader taking Broad Street down the path to cultural and fiscal success.
