Travelers need to rely on cash when traveling to emerging destinations across Asia. For tourists, whether it's Kathmandu or Tbilisi, cash is (still) king. We find this interesting given that local merchants have gone digital, and locals are going cashless faster than ever before. That's why we are building Avendi: to enable travelers to pay local merchants seamlessly, in a cashless manner.
