The Royal Opera House La Monnaie is Belgium's federal opera house. It is a cultural meeting point in the centre of Brussels and has for more than 300 years gathered people together for opera and dance performances, recitals and concerts. With its bold and internationally acclaimed productions, La Monnaie has taken its place among the major European opera houses and continues to achieve its artistic ambitions by attracting renowned performing artists, giving opportunities to talented young performers and above all by combining the traditional skills of its studios and workshops with a spirit of innovation. Not just art for art's sake, but because the experience of art succeeds in emancipating people in a variety of ways, making them stronger and reinforcing social ties.

Fondé en 1947 par Jean Vilar, le Festival d'Avignon est aujourd'hui l'une des plus importantes manifestations internationales du spectacle vivant contemporain. Chaque année, en juillet, Avignon devient une ville-théâtre, transformant son patrimoine architectural en divers lieux de représentation, majestueux ou étonnants, accueillant des dizaines de milliers d'amoureux du théâtre, de la danse, de la musique et des arts plastiques, de toutes les générations (plus de 140 000 entrées). Avignon, c'est également un esprit, un forum à ciel ouvert, où les festivaliers parlent des spectacles et partagent leurs expériences de spectateurs. Un mois durant, tous peuvent avoir accès à une culture contemporaine et vivante. Das Luzerner Theater ist das älteste produzierende Mehrspartentheater in der Zentralschweiz und somit einer der grössten Kulturanbieter. In den Sparten Oper, Schauspiel und Tanz sowie im Kinder- und Jugendtheater werden im Haus an der Reuss, aber auch in der Box und im UG an der Winkelriedstrasse 12, Vorstellungen aufgeführt.
