We started in mental health, building Ava Mind — a private AI platform for one of the most sensitive areas imaginable. That experience shaped everything. If you can get privacy right there, you can get it right anywhere. It also led us to a broader conclusion: private AI isn't just essential for regulated industries. It's essential for everyone. Which is why we built Whisper AI — a fully on-device AI assistant with no cloud, no data collection, no servers. Your conversations stay on your device and nowhere else. It's our main focus and our clearest demonstration of what private AI looks like in practice. For businesses, the stakes are different but the principle is the same.
