AV Ventures is ACDI/VOCA’s investment management subsidiary. AV Ventures provides innovative, catalytic financing to "missing middle" small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Africa and Central Asia. AV Ventures’ investment strategy is to invest patient/flexible capital in small and growing businesses in developing countries to promote markets in which business owners, smallholder farmers, and communities are empowered to succeed. Our pilot funds in Ghana, Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan) and Kenya focus on SMEs and financial institutions that show significant potential for growth and impact.
