In January 2003, Victor Film Company was acquired by the Caparo Group and re-launched as AV Pictures Ltd with Angad Paul as Chairman and Vic Bateman as Managing Director. Since the formation of the company, AV Pictures' role has expanded from international film sales agency to also incorporate co-financing and production. The company has a strong track record in creating value for its buyers, by clearly focusing on delivering commercial product across all genres, and by championing break-through talent, such as Scott Mann ( The Tournament ) and Neil Marshall ( Dog Soldiers ), directors who have continually proven the potential of new talent to deliver theatrical thrills from independent productions. The AV team contains a wealth of experience, understanding and contacts from across the industry, including Sales, Distribution, Exhibition, Production and Development. The team is focused on creating value and service to its buyers and producers.
