Because of Dan's passion for snowmobiles and his love for selling, they opened Mason City Powersports, a Yamaha, Arctic Cat, Polaris dealership, across the highway from Auto Edge and a new Ford store called Leading Edge Ford in Osage that has Sales and Service of Fords and any make of used models. In July 2009 the Ryersons and the team from Auto Edge wanted to find a way to give back to North Iowa. Their goal was to make a difference in the life of a family in need. They accomplished their goal by creating a Wheels to Heal Program which was designed to give one family in need a used van. Auto Edge accepted letters from friends and family members of over 75 needy families in North Iowa who had no transportation, or a car on its last leg. After many days of trying to choose who was the most in need, the Ryersons and the team from Auto Edge could not decide on one.
