Autism New Jersey Information

Autism New Jersey is a nonprofit agency committed to ensuring safe and fulfilling lives for individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals who support them. Through awareness, credible information, education, and public policy initiatives, Autism New Jersey leads the way to lifelong individualized services provided with skill and compassion. We recognize the autism community's many contributions to society and work to enhance their resilience, abilities, and quality of life. Established in 1965, we’ve supported the autism community for nearly six decades. Our work currently centers around four core service pillars: * Information – Provide referrals and service navigation assistance through our Helpline (800.4.AUTISM) and website (www.autismnj.org) for thousands of parents and professionals * Education and Training - Share clinical expertise through regional trainings and statewide conferences * Public Policy - Serve as the collective voice for the community through public policy initiatives in collaboration with the Legislature and the state departments that serve the autism community * Awareness - Build community acceptance through our successful autism ambassador campaign and community outreach
