Autism Alliance UK LTD Information

The Autism Alliance is the major grouping of specialist UK autism charities. We aim to improve the lives of people with autism by continually improving good practice among our member charities and by sharing our collective expertise. We also seek to influence local and national policy for the benefit of people with autism, their families, and carers, and to be a beacon for good autism practice. Our vision is a better world for people with autism. Our mission is to improve the choice and quality of services and support for people with autism. Connect to Autism Project People with autism are often excluded from their own communities through lack of understanding. Connect to Autism is a major national awareness project, funded by the Department of Health, that aims to put this right. Together with our member charities, we are training national and local organisations such as retail shops, theatres, public transportation systems, leisure centres and many more to become autism-friendly.
