Our work has been showcased in local and national magazines including Down East, Mother Earth News and Yankee Magazine recently (see below). Using old world techniques, we meticulously cut your timberframe at our shop in western Maine, hand join and erect your timber frame anywhere in New England. Our past projects include boat houses, town halls, coastal cottages and island homes. Michael L. Seymour, owner of Authentic Timberframes and has been cutting and joining timberframes for over 16 years. He has also been a timber frame instructor. Our focus is on sustainable, green building with energy efficient construction. We guarantee the highest quality because we cut one frame at a time - yours and yours alone. We are not a production shop.
