Australian Vanilla Plantations has successfully created a unique greenhouse dome system for growing vanilla in Australia, this can also be applied to many different regions as well as countries. The proven technology successfully grows vanilla, has produce flowers and high quality vanilla beans. It is completely organic with beans over 24cm long. We have achieved our sustainability goals of very low water and electricity usage, very low labor input whilst achieving very high yield as well as very high quality. The vanilla domes will allow many people to grow vanilla themselves and achieve their vanilla dreams and either own their own plantations or be a partner in one at a very affordable price. We are also working on multiple flowers per year and early results to achieve this goal have been very promising. Our company continues to invest in research and development to ensure the outcomes are repeatable and we have amongst the best organically grown vanilla beans in the world. Our work is not limited to Australian either, we have been working to form partnerships with Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Uganda, Brazil and Peru. With increasing knowledge we are able to support farmers in these regions and provide the best prices for their vanilla. We seek collaboration as we believe it doesn't matter how much vanilla farmers produce it will never be enough. The market potential for vanilla is essentially untapped with new research into applications beyond food such as pharmaceutical, beauty and fragrances, aromatherapy etc. We are working with overseas farmers to assist them increase their yield per square meter, quality, get paid fairer prices as well as contribute to various sustainability goals to assist their communities.
