The Australian Industrial Hemp Alliance (AIHA), is the Australian Hemp Industries peak body - representing Farmers, Manufactures, Marketers, Builders, Retailers, Soil Scientists and Agronomists dedicated to the Hemp Industry and its development. The AIHA is a not-for-profit Association that was registered as an Incorporated Association with NSW Fair Trading on 23 January 2015. As the major contributor to the Agrifutures Hemp RD&E Report - we are also an active participant in the Hemp CRC . As the Hemp industry National peak body. The Purpose of the Alliance is to represent all people and organisations interested in all aspects of industrial hemp and associated products at a national level in Australia, in order to develop and grow all aspects of the industry. There are also various Industrial Hemp Associations in a number of States in Australia, That are members of the AIHA. we have over 200 ordinary, associate and corporate members. Currently our members are operating in the areas of Carbon Sequestration, Building, food, fibre, hurd and medicinal. veterinary products, equipment, soil science hemp plastics and agronomy We are looking to expand our membership in these and other areas.
