AUSTIN'S LEND-A-HAND CORPORATION Information

I started brushmowing with a very small garden tractor in 1997. I was 12 years old. Fast forward through junior high school, senior high school, FFA and endless hours on my tractor, both in my own business efforts and in my part time job at the large alpaca ranch on Camano, to age 20when the company became an incorporated entity and I turned my attention full-time to servicing the brushmowing and excavation needs of the Camano and Stanwood community property owners. Austins Lend-A-Hands customer base has grown to over 600! I serve individuals, road/water/homeowners associations, utilities, municipal entities such as Fire Departments, community organizations such as the Stanwood-Camano Fairgrounds and Housing Hope. Austins Lend-A-Hand is a member of the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce; I serve as a member of the Stanwood-Camano Fair Board; and am President of my neighborhoods Road and Water Association. I enjoy judging occasionally for local 4-H and FFA members in alpaca competitions and am called upon to act as a judge for Stanwood High School FFA events when needed. I and my family participate in the Camano Island Chili-Chowder Cook-Off to promote Austins Lend-A-Hand and have fun with community memberswhich Austins Lend-A-Hand has won by a landslide several times! Great fun! You will also find me at the Stanwood-Camano Fair each year with a couple pieces of my equipment, saying hello to old friends and shaking hands with new ones. Supporting our local fair is important and I am proud to do so. While I mostly work on Camano and in Stanwood, I occasionally wander out of the immediate area for a job, but the lions share of my work is very local. Everything I do, from brushcutting the briars of summertime to clearing the snows of winter is my privilege, serving my customers from my office with views that cant be beatand which change, every single day.
