Austin Sports Commission Information

The mission of the Austin Sports Commission is to generate economic impact by attracting sporting events & meetings to the greater ATX area, thereby enhancing the quality of life for all residents. The Austin Sports Commission will strive to become a leader and clearinghouse for all youth and amateur sports interests throughout the region. We will seek to be the “go to” entity that represents area venues to all potential market segments and we will advocate in support of new venue development that may differentiate the area to these segments. We will become known as a valuable community organization that supports the quality of the visitor experience by offering a seamless experience for event organizers seeking destinations for their events that results in economic impact.
