Austin-IT is a new IT services company founded in April of 2009. We are currently providing hardware and software IT services to the Residential and SMB market in the Austin Texas regional area. Our goal throughout 2009 and beyond is to continue adding IT support services for ambulatory physician practices who are moving toward implemention of integrated Electronic Health Record, Practice Management, and Claims Management systems. The Health Care industry is undergoing a paradigm shift in how health information is collected, secured, and shared between patients, their doctors, medical institutions, and insurance companies. That transformation, in part driven by ARRA and the HITECH act of 2009, will modernize health care by moving information from a paper based process to a digital data driven process in order to increase quality of care, reduce costs, and create new efficiencies. Our mission is to provide high quality, state-of-the-art, and cost effective consulting, implementation, and support services to our clients so that they can focus on their core business strengths.
