Auscamp Information

Auscamp is a premier Outdoor Education provider operating primarily in Victoria. We commenced business in May of 1986 as a specialist provider of outdoor activity equipment to schools, community groups and families. Over the following few years the business developed into the provision of outdoor education and adventure programs as well. At this time the director of Auscamp, John Lindros, was also teaching Physical Education and running an extensive outdoor education program at school. Auscamp continued developing slowly until the late 1990’s at which time John decided to ‘retire’ from teaching to run the business full time. Auscamp has now become one of the larger providers of safe, exciting, innovative outdoor education and adventure programs in Victoria. We pride ourselves in our ability to meet the needs of the groups we work with and provide individualised programs. We have worked with well over 80 schools to provide everything from equipment hire and one off Duke of Ed style programs through to sequentially based full school programs. Although Auscamp has grown over the years we still work to retain the personal touch. We want all our clients, staff and suppliers to feel that they are part of a community that cares for each other.
