Auraasala is a national platform dedicated to recognising, uplifting, and celebrating the creative voices of Australia’s refugee, asylum seeker, and migrant communities. Through our annual art and literature awards, we spotlight the powerful stories, talents, and perspectives of people from displaced and diverse backgrounds. Founded on the belief that creative expression fosters healing, belonging, and advocacy, Auraasala is more than just an awards program—it is a movement for inclusion through the arts and education.
