Augmented Vision Systems Information

Mission: To develop a portable vision system that can augment a person’s surrounding; hence providing enhanced sense of safety. In addition to enhanced safety, our goal is to provide a small portable device that can be used on any moving vehicle, with an intuitive interface at an affordable price. Problem: In the past year alone, more than 840,000 * (need source) blind spot accidents have occurred. Current solutions are limited to expensive built in solutions and are not standard on all cars. Today many people have opted for greener modes of transportation that include bicycles, powered bikes and the traditional motorcycles.
