Audlem Educational Foundation Information

We are a small group of individual archeologists who have gathered together to share ideas and knowledge. Our main aim is to provide a forum for dissemination and discussion. With a collective experience of over 200 years, we consider it important that such a collaboration provides the model for other areas of the archeological world. Our main area of expertise is that of Mesoamerica - principally the Mayan. All of our members have spent time at digs in each of the main sites, most recently at Caracol. We are currently working at the Caracol site where we have unearthed some excellent examples of Mayan artefact and craftwork. However, we are currently exploring the legend of Edward Fizzle and asking the question, is he real (and did he discover Caracol all those years ago, or is he a work of fiction?
