Generating Genius has the vision of a thriving and diverse STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) community in higher education and industry which is inclusive and representative of the UK population. Our aim is that young people, particularly those from black, Asian and other minority ethnic groups (BAME), low income households, and also girls, will hold a representative proportion of places on STEM courses at the top universities (for
example; The Times 100). They will also be aware of and prepared for, the diverse career opportunities that STEM has to offer.
Our programmes: Junior Genius, Uni Genius and Alumni Genius
SportInspired exists so that every child, regardless of background or ability, can develop the confidence and courage to follow their dreams.
To achieve this vision, we deliver fun, inclusive, innovative, and impactful community programmes called the SportInspired Games. These bring together key local community stakeholders to achieve a shared common purpose: to help children, young people, and their communities overcome the barriers caused by poverty through the power of sport + play.
Active, healthy children, surrounded by connected communities reap enormous benefits. These include greater ambition, improved academic ability, less anti-social behaviour, and an overall happier, healthier life.
Central to achieving our goal are the corporations who support us by supplying employee volunteers and funding to plan and run our programmes. It is a mutually beneficial situation, as employees emerge from their games experience re-enthused with their roles, reconnected to their co-workers, and having improved their management skills. Corporations develop stronger local connections and are seen to be giving something back to the communities that surround them. We support internal HR, PR, and CSR activities and give employees a unique volunteering experience.

SIKAT's work in the UK is mainly fundraising and administration. this work is carried out entirely by the Trustees and volunteers.
In 2005, a local family donated 10,000m2 of land to Calingag community, and the Villagers build a makeshift school to provide boys and girls aged 11- 24 from rural areas and poor families who could not access a secondary school. The Secondary School in town could no longer accommodate students within its limited sized classrooms. The makeshift school started with 68 students in a one classroom. The year 2009-2010 it has an enrolment of 214.
In Oct. 2008, an old rice warehouse has been used as a library so that the children and their parents can have access to the 25,000 books SIKAT has been able to send since 2006.
