Gateway Rehab is a nationally recognized, private, not-for-profit organization that provides treatment for adults, youth and families with alcohol and other drug dependencies. Gateway was founded in 1972 by Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, an internationally recognized authority on addiction treatment. More than 100,000 individuals have received treatment within the Gateway system, which extends throughout western Pennsylvania and Ohio.

At SHELTER, Inc., we believe every child deserves a home. Every adult and child who seeks our help is unique and we strive to end their struggles by tailoring services to fit their needs, from rental assistance to housing to providing them with supportive services such as tutoring, employment services and life skills training. Since 1986, SHELTER, Inc. has prevented thousands of families from losing their homes and placed thousands more in homes that they maintain on their own. Families graduate from SHELTER, Inc.’s programs and become self-sufficient, providing for themselves and their families.
