Our story began in 2008 when Jean-Michel Pitot and his family sought to create something new in the Mauritian hospitality industry. Their vision? More than just hotels - celebrating the island’s culture, caring for the environment, and supporting local communities. Since day one, we’ve made bold choices that reflect this vision - a 100% local experience, removing single-use plastics from the guest experience, and breaking traditional hospitality norms by letting our team express their individuality (yes, tattoos, and beards are welcome at Attitude!).
