Simatech Shipping was first established in 1992 as a feeder operator in Dubai. With a small, modest employee base, Simatech started operating between the Gulf Ports. Although still considered a relatively young firm in the Gulf, Simatech’s reputation as a professional and innovative service provider is recognized as setting a benchmark within the shipping industry. More than twenty years since inception, Simatech now employs more than 200 highly qualified staff in their offices in UAE, Singapore, India, Somalia, and North America, as well as operating more than sixteen vessels in sixteen different destinations within the Gulf, the Indian Sub-Continent, Far East and East Africa. Noted for having moved over 1,000,000 TEUs in 2012, Simatech remains one of the most dynamic feeder operators in the region.
