Datopian is a provide of data consulting and data-driven solutions. We offer a variety of data-related services including architecting and building data management platforms, providing strategy for data-driven projects and organizations, as well as data discovery, analytics and visualization. We are purpose-oriented and seek for our work make a real difference to organizations and the lives of people around the world. Datopian was founded by Rufus Pollock. Rufus was the founder of and, until recently, the CEO of Open Knowledge International, one of the most experienced organizations working on open data worldwide. Founded in 2004 Open Knowledge International has helped create standards, develop communities and build a wide variety of tools and platforms including the CKAN data portal software. He led teams which have built and launched data portals for the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union, Sweden, Northern Ireland, Southern Australia, Singapore and others.
