Atmaraksha is an exclusive program for women providing them orientation in the use of 'Kubotan' (a keychain) for self-defense activities. This single session training lasting for 2.5 hours is provided free of cost along with a complmentary 'Kubotan' key chain for each participant. The session is aimed at teaching the basics of self-defense through a keychain that can be carried anywhere easily. The session will also introduce the participants to the fact that although physical fitness is important, effective self-defense is also a result of mental preparedness & self-confidence. As it is a self-defense workshop, there is no dress code. We believe these self-defense skills can be used anywhere, anytime & on anybody but should not be used to cause intentional harm otherwise.
