We are three organizations with separate but overlapping missions, united by a passion to promote psychoanalytic understanding in the treatment of our patients, in the education of our clinicians, and in the community more generally. The Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute educates and trains graduate students, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, residents-in-training, mental health clinicians, and other qualified professionals who share a serious interest in psychoanalysis. The Atlanta Psychoanalytic Society provides a community venue for continuing education, lively collegial discourse, and fellowship for professionals who share a common interest in psychoanalysis. The Atlanta Foundation for Psychoanalysis brings analytic insights to greater Atlanta through a variety of community programs.
