Atlanta Baroque Orchestra Information

The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra (ABO) is the longest continually running Baroque ensemble in the Southeast, having presented an impressive array of over 250 works (ca. 1600-1800) throughout the metro-Atlanta area since 1998. ABO’s mission is to perform and celebrate the vitality of early and Baroque music and to engage audiences through the energy of live performance and the highest caliber of musical artistry. The ABO brings 18th century music to life for a 21st century audience. ABO’s ensemble includes professional musicians from across the United States who collaborate with various Atlanta-based arts and culture institutions. ABO is recognized by its peers as a premier ensemble in the selection, curation and performance of early music while providing a unique and singular audience experience. A cultural mainstay in the Atlanta music community, the ABO typically performs three concerts per year with two to three performances in several metro Atlanta locations.
