All Terrain Lesbians (ATL) Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in 1994 by a group of friends who wished to support a member of their informal bicycling group after she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Since then, ATL’s mission has aimed to support self-identified lesbians living in Colorado in need of financial assistance due to poor health.
