The Athletes For Life Foundation is a unique partnership of world-class athletes, medical professionals, and key individuals, all focused on:Saving lives through health education and providing medical access for everyone through the use of revolutionary heart monitoring technology with new detection capabilities. Shining the spotlight on Sudden Cardiac Arrest deaths and preventative measures. Creating opportunities and a level playing field for people in need across the world.Bringing communities together for a healthier, safer, and happier tomorrow.The AFL Foundation, a new 501(c)(3) organization, was created by some of the biggest names in the American sports landscape. Founder Willie Gault (Olympic and Super Bowl champion) sought to bring together opportunity, education, medical technology, and wellness programs across a broad range of demographics and organizations. True role models educate and inspire through action and insight. Unfortunately, today's youth often face life without true role models, whether it's at home or on the playing field, and that can lead to a dangerous and unhealthy path. The AFL Foundation is committed to changing that for the better by bringing together human energy, passion, cutting-edge technology, and a compassionate understanding of community needs. The AFL Foundation is working towards providing health care, life opportunity, and equality for all people in need. The AFL Foundation's primary goal is to help people understand how a healthy lifestyle improves the quality of life for themselves, and society. The AFL Foundation's partnership of Pro-Sports Legends, Olympic Athletes, Corporations that care and Community Leaders is bringing grassroots programs to those in need to promote the value of health, safety, hope, and self-respect. The AFL Foundation's partnership continues to build on the support of industry leaders, philanthropic organizations, and other institutions that recognize and share the Foundation's vision. Sudden Cardiac Arrest affects countless lives reaching across age, race, gender, and background. The AFL Foundation and its partners are dedicated to bringing awareness and knowledge for a healthy lifestyle. It all starts with identifying people in need. We expect to give a new meaning to "ROLE MODEL" for our youth globally! This will be done through our World Class Athlete Members and other Global Leaders in many different areas of endeavor. Our Role Models will be at the local grass-roots level where the kids and their families are in need. It starts with our Pro-Sports legends and Olympic winners that are AFL Foundation members. Each know the value and merits of winning, having an opportunity and giving or translating a piece of themselves to doing something positive while inspiring others to have hope. This is what we want to give to the young athletic, underprivileged and disenfranchised. This partnership build-out depends on securing the interest and support of industry leaders and philanthropic institutions that share our vision and passion to change the course of events for athletes of all ages. More and more of our kids are dropping dead from sudden cardiac arrest. It does not have to be this way. Together we can change these dreadful facts. We are not competing with any organization, we are solving unmet problems by getting the right players on the team to defeat disease, lack of opportunity and motivation. We want to give evidence to the expression, "You never stand taller than when you.re stooping to help a child". The AFL Foundation is simply trying to reduce the burden of Heart Disease (sudden Cardiac Death) of athletes of all ages, to create access to proper exercise facilities for our youth.
