Founded in 1949 with the visionary support of Pablo Picasso, Éditions Cercle d’Art was born from a deep belief in the power of books to share and celebrate artistic creation. Long before Warhol, Picasso understood the potential of reproducing his work across all media — and it was through Cercle d’Art and Charles Feld, a printer during the French Resistance, that this vision came to life. For over 70 years, our mission has remained unchanged: to interpret the themes, worlds and emotions of artists through carefully crafted art books that reflect their spirit with respect and precision. Our editorial approach is multidisciplinary, independent, and always driven by a deep commitment to creativity.
