Atelier Ars Information

ATELIER ARS is the architectural practice led by Alejandro Guerrero and Andrea Soto, both architects graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente [ITESO] in Guadalajara Mexico. Alejandro Guerrero attended the Master Arquitectura: Crtica i Projecte at the Escola Tcnica Superior dArquitectura de Barcelona, Universitat Politcnica de Catalunya [ETSAB/UPC]. He teaches Architectural Design at ITESO since 2006. Andrea Soto holds an MLA at Harvard Graduate School of Design. She won the CEMEX Arquitecto Marcelo Zambrano Scholarship in 2015. As a Harvard student she won a GSD and an American Society of Landscape Architects ASLA distinction. They have lectured at Harvard GSD as part of the Latin GSD cicle, Boston Architectural College BAC, MantovArchitettura 2019, Taller Max Cetto UNAM and all major universities in Mexico. Novasem headquartes won First Prize at III Latin American Landscape Architecture Biennial 2018. Category: Corporate built work. Novasem headquarters won Silver Medal in Mexican Architecture Biennial 2018. Project Levering Trade nominated for the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize emerge. State Dwelling Prize with House with 7 Courtyards in 2011. Jalisco Architectural Prize in the category of dwelling with Impluvium House in 2009. Gold Medal at the Jalisco Architecture Biennale in 2007 with SMO House.
