Makaton is a language programme that gives everyone a helping hand to talk. We’ve been developing the Makaton language programme for nearly 40 years. And in that time, we’ve made a huge difference to thousands of lives, breaking down the isolation people feel when they experience difficulties and can’t speak. We help children and adults feel more connected to the world around them and give them a voice.

Dyslexia Action Training provides tutor-supported online courses through a virtual learning environment enabling our participants to engage in training at times and in locations to suit them. We offer a range of pathways to achieve specialist teacher/practitioner assessor status. Our dyslexia courses are designed to strengthen the expertise and confidence of teachers, teaching assistants, learning support staff and tutors who support students with literacy difficulties, dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.
