ATEC is a global leader in IoT-enabled electric cookstoves which connect households in Asia and Africa to global carbon markets. We have pioneered a model that produces premium digital carbon assets through pure irrefutable data. While other companies rely on sampling and estimation, we combine 100% digital monitoring, reporting, and verification (dMRV) of emissions reductions with blockchain technology to produce carbon credits of ultimate quality. The women whose cooking created the credits share in the proceeds while also benefiting from improved health and time savings. Founded in Cambodia in 2016, ATEC developed the world’s first PAYG-enabled cookstove product in 2018, followed by the first IoT-enabled smart stove in 2020. ATEC currently distributes its products in 10 countries across Asia and Africa, with the goal of bringing transformative impact to the lives of all women in the Global South.
