For more than 30 years, Anime Weekend Atlanta has stood as a cultural touchstone for anime and Japanese culture enthusiasts across the Southeast. From humble beginnings as a small gathering of friends, AWA has experienced year over year growth, fostering a vibrant space for fans and creators alike. Our convention stands as a testament to the ever-expanding influence of anime, connecting diverse communities and celebrating an art form that transcends borders.

Otakorp, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based, 501(c)3 educational non-profit whose mission is to promote the appreciation of Asian culture, primarily through its media and entertainment. Otakorp, Inc. is directed by an all-volunteer, unpaid staff – we are run by fans, for fans. All Otakorp Staff are volunteers (over 800!) and our organization has no employees. With 42,000 unique and over 110,000 turnstile attendance in 2022, MomoCon is one of the fastest growing all ages conventions in the country. Fans of Japanese Anime, American Animation, Comics, Video Games, and Tabletop Games come together to celebrate their passion by costuming / cosplay, browsing the huge exhibitors hall, meeting celebrity voice talent, designers, and writers behind their favorite shows, games, and comics and much much more over this 4 day event. Whether you are an anime fan, gamer, comic reader, or just like watching cartoons, all are welcome at MomoCon!
