Ata Capital is a cross-sectoral, alternative asset class fund manager, focused on identifying and maximising real investment opportunities that create sustained stakeholder impact, generate effective returns and drive sector transformation. The company, founded in 2012 by CEO, Lelo Rantloane, and the Harris Family Office, is majority black-owned and is managed by a group of seasoned investment professionals. Ata Capital’s purpose is to attract and manage private and institutional capital, structuring diverse investments that generate relative returns for investors, employees and shareholders; whilst innovating for positive impact and transformation within investee companies and broader society. We are a committed driver of sub-Saharan African socio-economic growth, adapting our investment mandate to address the needs of a diversified base of investors, focusing on effective solutions derived from actionable insights. Our execution is driven by sector confidence and investor and market insights, optimising both impact and wealth creation platforms.
