At the Root Project Information

Women and gender-diverse learners in STEM face a disproportionate risk of sexual violence and harassment in experiential learning opportunities (co-ops, internships, labs). At the Root Project co-creates supports, systems, and strategies to address this harm in STEM learning and working contexts. We work with survivors, post-secondary students, staff and administrators, employers, governments, and the public to co-create practical resources, deliver training, and advance policies that build safer, more inclusive STEM learning and working environments.
