The Association of Payment Professionals (APP) is a member-based and volunteer-driven nonprofit committed to safeguarding the payments ecosystem through education, collaboration, and leadership. Our members include acquiring banks, ISOs, the card brands, NACHA, law enforcement agencies, payment processors, and payment facilitators. APP Membership APP assists its members with managing risk and preventing fraud by providing a communication channel to encourage ongoing networking, benchmarking, and information sharing among its members. Membership in APP provides the value of sharing best practices, discussing current fraud trends, loss mitigations, and the opportunity to receive educational materials and share information within this payments peer group. APP communications provide pertinent and timely information about the industry. Members receive communications regarding suspicious or problematic merchants as well as articles and information to keep members up-to-date. APP's conference is the only annual meeting in the US exclusively dedicated to educating individuals about risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
