La Fédération française de handball (FFHandball) est une association française loi 1901 fondée le 1er septembre 1941. Elle est l'instance gérant le handball en France avec délégation de la Fédération internationale de handball (IHF) et du Ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports.
The European Handball Federation is the governing body for handball in Europe. With 50 member federations and two associated federations, the EHF is responsible for a wide range of tasks and activities from promotion and development through to the organisation of high-profile sports events.
Founded in 1991, the EHF has its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, where both the federation and its marketing subsidiary, EHF Marketing GmbH, have their offices. The federation has an annual budget in excess of 25 million Euro.
The EHF is responsible for a wide range of activities including the organisation of major international sports competitions including the EHF Champions League and EHF EURO. The federation is also tasked with the promotion of the game, player transfers, referees and delegates, development and education programmes as well as newer versions of the game such as beach handball, wheelchair handball and street handball.
USA Team Handball is the American national governing body of Olympic handball and the only organization recognized by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and International Handball Federation (IHF) to lead handball initiatives in the United States. USATH is a member of the USOPC and IHF.
