Assimilated Asylum Technology Group, LLC, was the creation of a group of industry members that have been driven by Cybersecurity of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) for many years (over 15 years each approximately) which in turn branched out into a passion to assist all critical infrastructure with there Cybersecurity and Compliance needs. With the proliferation of "Control Systems" outside their standard realm and with the IoT, IIoT, Smart Buildings on top of Smart Grids, which is being connected to the Internet in one form or another, we find that we as a company want to bring cybersecurity to smaller and medium entities (in addition to out typical larger clients) that find themselves categorized as a part of a Critical Infrastructure Sector by DHS or FERC but not always falling under the NERC CIP Regulations, and if we can assist with any compliance efforts along the way, all the better. So at the end of the day, we are the same cybersecurity guys working in ICS but we feel it is expanding and we want to ensure the smaller entities, that have no idea of what a BAS much less a PLC or RTU is, get the same help in securing the environment as we would provide a large distributed EMS or SCADA deployment. DHS Sectors categorized as Critical Infrastructure which Assimilated Asylum will be focusing our initial offerings on will be the Energy Sector, Water & Wastewater Sector, Dams Sector, Commercial Facilities Sector, Communication Sector, Information Technology Sector, Transportation Sector and last but not least the Healthcare Sector. (While ICS/SCADA/OT and even a little traditional IT is our passion from a CyberSecurity perspective we have brought in the best in Healthcare which will allow us to continue expanding our offerings, more to come on that later.)
