Assembly Method Information

Assembly Method is an independent design and technology studio. Creative enough to imagine it, serious enough to make it real. We work in the part between the idea and the finished thing! Across museums, attractions, exhibitions, live productions, experience-led spaces, film and television and projects that do not fit neatly into a category. Our work spans Independent Review, Design, Create and Support. Sometimes that means helping shape an experience and designing the systems behind it. Sometimes it means taking responsibility for a defined piece of work. Sometimes it means independently reviewing a design, budget or delivery approach before decisions become expensive to change. And sometimes it means staying involved because there is value in having someone who already understands how the whole thing fits together. Our capability crosses interactive systems, lighting, audio, visual, show control, software, networks, IT, data and AI. That breadth matters because modern experiences do not operate as separate disciplines. Creative, physical and technical decisions are increasingly connected, and small decisions in one area can have consequences across an entire project. We work directly with clients and alongside creative, design and delivery teams. We are equally comfortable taking ownership of a defined package, bringing in specialist capability where needed or working under another team’s banner. Our work has included public interactive experiences, major museum and cultural projects, themed entertainment, integrated experience systems and confidential developments across multiple markets. We are independent by design. Technology is selected for the experience and the project, not because we need to sell a particular product or platform. Assembly Method. The part between the idea and the thing.
