Heather Asquith Architect is a Toronto based architectural practice founded in 2010 with a focus on modern residential and small scale projects. The practice works closely with clients to develop thoughtful, contemporary designs in both rural and urban contexts. Much of our work deals with challenging existing conditions, from weaving a new addition with an existing farmhouse to fitting a new build on a tight urban site. We listen carefully to our clients desires, review the constraints and design a building strategy that works to a budget, big or small. The practice provides a full range of professional architectural design services. We believe that good design takes a dedicated team from start to finish: from the initial design ideas, municipal approvals process, completion of design and construction drawings through to construction. Our established relationships with experienced contractors and structural, mechanical, electrical and landscape consultants are an integrated part of this design process. Every project is different. Every project has its own site, budget, set of drawings and details. And every project has a process.
