Aspen Lane Technology Information

Welcome to Aspen Lane Technology! We are an Information Technology business with services in hardware and software setup and maintenance, software and website development, and bookkeeping. Our headquarters is located in the countryside between Ste. Anne and Landmark. Our mission is to provide technical services and support to rural businesses in our community and throughout southeastern Manitoba. Jeff Penner founded Aspen Lane Technology. He was always the smart kid in school. His dad was one of the first in the community to get a computer, so Jeff grew up with them. Over the years, he was getting more and more requests to help friends out with their technical problems. Sometimes people would invite the family over for supper and then say, “Hey, while you’re here, there’s this issue I have…..”! Eventually Jeff decided to make this a career that would supply him with more than supper for his family and voila, Aspen Lane Technology was born. This was back in 2009 and Jeff worked alone for awhile, then hired a bookkeeper and eventually a website developer, then someone to help with IT support as the business grew to support more and more small and medium sized local businesses. Today we have approximately 7-10 employees. Aspen Lane has been through some tough times. Sadly, Jeff died from cancer in 2016 and big decisions needed to be made. We felt that Aspen Lane Technology supplied a very strong and vital service to the community. On top of that it has been a good source of employment and skill training. Our wonderful clients and the people and businesses we have tried to service have been a great support. We want to continue to build on this great relationship. We feel strongly about family and community values. Our goal is to portray those values in our business by providing a cheerful, enthusiastic and respectful environment for both our employees and our clients.
