ASJE is a blue-green alliance with the board and membership divided between rank-and-file laborers (blue-collar) and environmentalists (green). Hope flows from the possibility of having the capacity to change the world in which you live. ASJE creates new hope for our future through strategic alliance building to challenge the economic policies that are destroying good jobs in a healthy environment. The Alliance for Sustainable Jobs and the Environment is a network of individuals and organizations dedicated to building a world where nature is protected, the worker is respected, and unrestrained corporate power is rejected through grassroots organizing, education, and action.
