For the last 30 years, the AWCA has experienced tremendous growth. There are two reasons for this. First, the AWCA's outstanding leadership has guided it through its infancy and growing pains until it became a vital place for people to find help and make connections to live more fruitful lives. Second, the AWCA has enjoyed endless support from the board of directors, staffs, volunteers, friends, families and the community at large. The AWCA's founding goal was to pave the path for a brighter future for Korean immigrants. The AWCA has developed into an effective social service organization with a variety of programs and now includes other ethnic groups, such as the Chinese community. Surely God¡¯s presence and leadership that has made us a successful organization! Now, it is time for us to prepare for the future. The AWCA has made a full commitment in "Serving for the Future" with better facilities, better resources, and better programs. The AWCA strives not only to maintain its current establishment, but to work with a life long vision in preparation for the next generation.
