The Asian Psychological Services and Assessment, Inc. (APSA, Inc.) was conceived by its founding President, the late Dr. Leticia Azusano in 1987. It started out offering assessment and psychological services to the industries. In 2003, it introduced the Philippine basic education to Standards-Based Assessment (SBA) following the international standards set by McREL and the national educational thrusts of the Department of Education (DepEd). Little by little, it has developed SBA materials for higher education. APSA, Inc. is a well repute in the national and local assessment communities. It is known for the successful marriage of science and social mission in measuring learning proficiency and individual performance. With its reputation, at present, APSA, Inc. provides services to over 260 clients--including some state agencies, schools, and industrial establishments--nationwide and overseas.
