ASHRAE Triangle Chapter Information

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE), founded in 1894, is an internationals organization of some 50,000 persons. ASHRAE fulfills its mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education. The Triangle Chapter of ASHRAE serves members in the Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill "Triangle" as well as adjacent areas in eastern North Carolina all the way to the coast! It was formed in 1969 and has over 500 members. It's members consist of those interested in HVAC, IAQ, Energy, and other attributes of the built environment, and includes design engineers, building owners/operators, equipment suppliers, and teachers/students from local schools.
